March 8, 2022

at Historic Pima County Courthouse

115 North Church Ave., Tucson Arizona

Eric Fritz, Museum Director, will lead AGS members through three galleries of beautiful specimens alongside interactive experiences that tell a continuous story of minerals.  A key museum objective is to explore Earth’s mineral evolution, from 60 minerals in the Hadean to the ~5600 minerals of today.

Bisbee Stope

The diversity of Arizona and Mexico minerals together with the importance of mining highlights the second gallery. Man’s artistic interpretation of minerals creating beautiful gemstones, jewelry and carving complete the museum experience.
